RetroFix - Debra Paget

Another wonderful starlet of the 50's with one of the nicest laps in the business. If you're too young to know who she is, you have my sympathies. Here's a look at what you've been missing....

  1. I actually never heard of Deborah Paget until now, so I looked her up on my micro-computing device. Oh yeah, the water girl in "The Ten Commandments". What a beauty, and what a great example of the fifties beauty that means as much to you as the model with the Roman nose and the pursed lips meant to the Pre-Raphaelites. Deborah has the perfect doll-face and even has the right muscular, non-skinny legs of the RedRump '50s ideal. I clearly remember drooling over that water girl/Indian maiden/slave girl that she tended to be.
Picture #5, in the flower-print dress, is just so perfectly, perfectly "50s housewife", and for some reason, I can easily picture her rolling up her right sleeve while holding a big wooden hairbrush in her hand. What a great find!

  2. Ooh! As I started early, I can honestly say she reminds me of some of the babysitters I used to fantasize about when I was seven or eight.

  3. You guys know me all too well; babysitter, housewife, water girl - she fits just about any male fantasy you can concoct. She could look sweet as peaches, as in the first shot, or deliver a daunting stare like the last one - 'Do I have to put you across my knee right here in the restaurant? Because don't think I won't!'

  4. You should see her sister Lisa Gaye, stunning is the word. Lisa shows up a lot on Perry Mason re-runs. You['d drool over being spanked by her.
