So wrong on so many levels...

As appealing as some aspects of the '50's might be for fans of retro-spanking, it was also a time of blatant prejudices and chauvinism toward women as well, as these reprints from a 1950 issue of Beauty Parade (a girlie pulp) demonstrate. The author was trying to suggest that how a woman chose to seat herself was a message intended for the libido of every passing male.
I've no doubt that humans, being primates, employ body language to some extent, but these are just ridiculous....

Maybe the guy who put this tripe together shoud have a go at interpreting what message can be derived from this pose:

or this one:

OK, OK - I have to admit I am picking up the signals these last two are sending loud and clear.

The View from Above

I'm always curious to get the female perspective on FM spanking, and thought it would be a good idea to pass on the word about a few blogs out there that are written by women who eagerly indulge our punitive fantasies:

Spanking My Husband is a wonderful blog that follows the exploits of Deirdre as she puts her husband Evan 'through the paces (and the ringer!)', whenever he deserves or needs it, or just because she's in the mood to. Deirdre shares her thoughts and feelings in depth, as well as sharing her techniques with plenty of images, and responds to questions regarding their lifestyle. Well worth checking out.

All Mine is a terrific blog that offers insight to a unique lifestyle - Suzanne is married to a man she keeps as 'Sissy Tammy', and openly shares her bed with a lover, Jay. It is obvious from her writing that she is a very intelligent, confident and authoritative woman, and her outlook on life and loving is worth experiencing.
(I just noticed today that she posted a kind mention of yours truly, so she also apparently has good taste, too! - LOL)

I'll post other spanking blogs written by women who don't hesitate to paddle a deserving bottom as I come across them.

Beyond the Threshold

With this piece, I was looking to capture that moment when the spankee's pain threshold is being surpassed, and he can't help but to kick and try to squirm off his tormentress' lap.  However, even if she senses she has pushed him past his limit of tolerance, she doesn't appear to be anywhere close to being satisfied...

Angry 50's housewife

I could see that title becoming a fairly common one on this blog. But some ideas bear repeating...

RetroFix - Natalie Wood

I thought it would be fun to occassionally post images of some iconic women from the past, just in appreciation. And I cannot think of a more perfect choice to start this RetroFix feature off than the breathtaking Natalie Wood.  Her talent and charm went hand in hand with her beauty.

What's any of this to do with spanking, you ask? Not much, really - after all, an angel like her would never even dream of inflicting a humiliating butt-bruising on a defenceless posteri-

Ack! What the---?!
Guess I was wrong....and never so happy to be.
Bless you, Natalie. We miss you.

(to answer the obvious question - no, this is not a photoshop job. That really is Natalie giving actor Tab Hunter a good tanning.)

Trial of love

This lass seems to have found a method of ensuring she only shares her bed with guys who can prove to her they mean it when they say they would do anything for her...
I wish there were coeds like her when I was at  college....

Ah, the good old days....

There is something about women back in the 50's - the hairstyles, the fashions, the fact that the world was in black and white (wasn't it?) - that somehow, someway just screams SPANKING.
Not sure exactly why - maybe its the way the clothes succeeded in both accentuating  a woman's figure while still making her look so prim and proper. It's that prim and proper manner that subtly suggests that they will not tolerate any aberrant behavior.
Now, I was not around in the 1950's, but being a fan of the era, you will notice a strong retro flavor to much of the art on this blog.
